Made from 100% organic extra-long staple cotton, this original ponte fabric, also called Ponte di Roma, meaning “Roman Bridge” is a double-knit fabric known for its structure, stretch, and durability.

It’s made by knitting two layers of fabric together with slight open spaces between them like the arches of a Roman bridge, hence the name.

It features a mercerised finish that removes excess fuzz, giving it a smooth texture and an elegant handle.
